about the artist
a short biography

art is the oyster in which our stories are fossilised.
amana siham is a queer and neurodivergent multidisciplinary artist based in south london. her work is deeply driven by her own lived experiences, interests and alignments. she is particularly interested in conversation and ideas about the human condition; jungian study of alchemy and the human psyche; supernaturalism and spiritualism; the reclamation of paganism as the salvation of humanity and its brutal chaos.
through her creations, amana aims to embody the practice of storytelling and holding space for our inner worlds. the ambition to create a safe space for marginalised neurodivergent, bipoc, queer and trans folk drives amana as both, an artist and a person. ultimately, art is not only a means of storytelling but also a medium for connection and community.
she is currently a third-year anthropology and media major at goldsmiths, university of london. her first published project was a feature piece on the inner world of autism, crafted in collaboration with a fellow neurodivergent youth.
